Purpose
In Play
Putting purpose into play in the cities where sports brings us together.
We convene athletes, community leaders, organizations and companies around a single issue in a single city — and we build for adults and families: the organizers, business owners, elders and residents who run a community day to day.
Four ways we show up
These are our events. We choose the city and the issue, build the room, bring the athletes, and run the day. Each format stands on its own — a company can back one, or build a year around all four.
Community Service Day
Athletes and employee volunteers working a half-day alongside a local nonprofit already doing the work in that neighborhood. Substantive projects, real hours, and a partner organization measurably better off afterward.

Small Business Crawl
A day on a single corridor, moving through local businesses. Athletes spend, meet the owners, and put visibility behind the people holding a block together. Every stop produces content the owner keeps.

The Mixer
Athletes, community leaders and corporate partners in one room, with no program and no podium. The value is in who ends up standing next to whom. A great deal of what we build begins with a conversation that started here.

The Brunch
One city, one issue, one table. City leadership, athletes, the organizations doing the work, and the companies with the resources to act — convened so that something is decided, not only discussed.

What makes it different
The community sets the agenda
The organizations already doing the work select the issue and lead the conversation. Everyone else in the room responds to them. That inversion is deliberate, and it is the reason these rooms are worth being in.
Something actually happens
A commitment, a fund, a partnership, resources that move. The outcome is defined before the invitations go out — we don't convene rooms that end in a photograph.
Adults and families
Nearly all athlete community work is directed at youth. Ours is built for the adults who lead a neighborhood — the organizers, business owners and residents — and for the families alongside them.
The athlete is in it, not on stage
Serving alongside people. Seated at the table. Listening. An athlete who participates this way is remembered in a city long after the playing career ends.
We produce our own events, and we represent athlete foundations
Everything on this page is ours. We also work on the other side of the table, developing corporate partnerships on behalf of athletes and their foundations. We disclose which side we are calling about, and we ask which you would rather hear about before presenting either. One approach per company, per fiscal year.
